Following the publicity concerning the health benefits of resveratrol
found in wines a pill is now commercially available containing
resveratrol. Dr Creasy, Professor of Pomology at Cornell, has been studying resveratrol for eight years. Dr Creasy compared
the dietary supplement pill with a bottle of Vinifera Wine Cellars
Fleur de Pinot Noir from the Finger Lakes and found that one bottle
of the wine contained the same amount of resveratrol as 17,000
capsules of commercial resveratrol pills - $8,500 worth!
