Teenage drinking and smoking at lowest for a decade in UK
Levels of smoking and drinking in the UK are at the lowest levels for a decade according to a report published by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) in October.

Drinking has dropped amongst adolescents with one in five having had a drink in the week studied, with an average consumption of 9.9 units a week. Gary Ward of the Health Education Authority said that the study showed that there was a core of teenage drinkers who need to be tackled.
